Dr Gurdev Singh Gill (BVSc & AH (Bihar), PJK) qualified as a vet in 1968 from Bihar Veterinary College, India. He initially started practice with the Jabatan Perkhidmatan Negeri from June till July 1969, before joining the City Council Veterinary Department in August 1969.
In 1982, Dr Gurdev left the service and opened up Gills Veterinary Clinic.
He has been married for over 40 years to Daljit, and has 2 sons, Dr Kuljit and Dr Amreet.
He is actively involved with the Rotary Club of Penang, and its skill workshop, Joblink. He is also actively involved with the SPCA Penang and runs the SPCA clinic twice a week. He is a member of MSAVA and VAM (Malaysian Small Animal Veterinary Association and Veterinary Association Malaysia)
Dr Kuljit Singh Gill (BVSC, MRCVS) qualified as a vet from University of Liverpool in 1995. An old boy of Penang Free School, he then continued his ‘A’ levels in Ipswich, England. On completion of his ‘A’ levels, he started his veterinary education in Liverpool University .
He joined Gills Veterinary Clinic on his return in 1995.
He is married to Gurmit, and has 3 children, Ravneet, Seerat and Sahej…none of whom want to be vets at the moment! He is the veterinary advisor to the SPCA Penang. He enjoys swimming, golf, cricket and hockey. He is a Member of MSAVA and VAM (Malaysian Small Animal Veterinary Association and Veterinary Association Malaysia) and a Member of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (MRCVS).
Dr Amreet Singh Gill (DVM, UPM) qualified as a vet in 2001 from Universiti Putra Malaysia and joined the practice immediately after. Dr Amreet is an old boy of St. Xaviers School in Penang as well as St. Josephs College in Ipswich, England. He is married to Beninder. He spends his spare time at the gym, golf and swimming. He is a member of MSAVA and VAM (Malaysian Small Animal Veterinary Association and Veterinary Association Malaysia).
